Volunteers Needed for the Sundance North Security Committee

Your Board of Directors has been identifying community achievement goals designed to improve quality of life, property value, and security for the Sundance North community. These goals are being developed and prioritized based on feedback the Board has received from homeowner forum discussions during monthly meetings, posts received on the Sundance North Community Association Facebook page, and homeowner input directly to our Property Manager, Clint Taylor. Some goals will be developed and communicated in the near future, while others are more complex and will take longer to achieve. But the overarching vision is to enhance the community for every Sundance North resident. The Board would like to share with you the attached memo seeking volunteers for a security committee to help provide the best security options for our community.

Virtual Neighborhood Watch Guide

Thank you for your interest in the Neighborhood Watch Program. Neighborhood Watch is one of the most effective ways to prevent crime. It forges bonds among area residents, helps reduce and prevent crime, and improves the relationship between police and the neighborhoods they serve.

This Neighborhood Watch Starter Guide should provide you with all the information you need to get your Neighborhood Watch Program started.

Pool Reopening – Temporary Facility Rules

In an effort to reopen the community pools the Board of Directors has approved the attached Temporary Facility Rules for the Association’s pools that meet the State of California and the County of Riverside Guidelines. Please be aware that we ask that residents be courteous and respectful of each other and the pool monitor while using the facility. It is imperative that every homeowner read and familiarize yourself with the Temporary Facility Rules before coming to the pool.

THE USE OF THE ASSOCIATION FACILITIES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By entering and using the community facilities, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Cascade and Tioga pool facilities will reopen starting Saturday June 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Highland pool will remain closed until further notice in an effort to control increased costs associated with staffing and cleaning each facilities.

We thank you for your understanding and patience and the Board diligently worked through these unprecedented times.

New Rules

Pool Rule Change

The purpose of these proposed rule changes is to attempt to deal with crowding issues at the common area pool and an attempt to reduce problems associated with use of the pool area.

  • Guests must always be accompanied by a resident adult, eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • Any resident that brings a guest must present their ID to the pool monitor.
  • The maximum number of guests per household is four (4). Guest privileges are further restricted in that a household can only bring guests where the total number of persons in the pool area from that household (residents and guests) does not exceed ten (10).
  • The Board may assess fines on a weekly basis after the resident has been called in for a due process hearing.

The Board of Directors will be considering whether to adopt these proposed changes at the Board’s September 4, 2019, open session Board meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at 1310 Oak Valley Pkwy, Beaumont, CA 92223. You are welcome to submit written comments for the Board to review at that meeting or attend the meeting to provide your feedback on the proposed rule changes directly to the Board. Any written comments should be sent to [email protected] with enough time so that the comments can be received at least the day prior to the September 4, 2019 meeting.
